A little bit about me

Hello, I’m Kayla! Firstly, I do leave for Michigan State University August 20th to study Biomedical Laboratory Sciences. I have a BLS EMT license and I am waiting to test for my ALS License. I started babysitting around age 14 where I was doing a nanny like job. More recently, I have done scattered jobs from watching my Sisters (1 & 3) to hanging out with High School age individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. I work two jobs right now, charter fishing and the Fuel Dock at the marina I fish out of. I have a decent amount of flexibility and can make a lot of things work! Prioritizing needs, attainable wants and making sure the children have a good time is huge to me. In my childhood it always felt like I had an older friend rather than a babysitter, and that’s the role I want to play. All of the fun memories I made with my babysitter has driven me to want to do that in another child’s life. Not to mention giving them lifelong memories and strong bonds that I once created too.
