Hi! My name is Kayla, and my dream job is eventually a full time babysitter and/or animal sitter. I've been babysitting pretty much my whole life and have been told I'm best with babies. I can also take care of pets and do some housekeeping though I don't have my own cleaning products. If you have any questions please feel free to ask, I'm an open book. :) If you have any specifications for childcare/house are/etc. I prefer it written to make sure I don't get anything wrong. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Babysitting 1/3 (depending on time of custody for the parents), cleaning, and taking care of 2 dogs from January of 2022 to May of 2024.
Working with 1/5 children (depending on how many children were in the house) in foster care from May of 2024 to August of 2024.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Going to the park, going to the pool, and playing video games.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part is teaching the children. Wether that be teaching them the reason why they can or can not do certain things or changing implicit biased opinions. For example, I had a kid tell me they didn't trust people who wore all black clothes because emo's are just mean people, and I told him that you can never judge someone based off of what they wear. We then had a whole conversation about emo people and why he thought they were mean and why I thought that some can be mean and some can be the sweetest people you'll ever meet, but you'll never know if you don't give anyone a chance.

My experience with special needs children...

One of the 3 I used to babysit was on the spectrum and needed specific foods, and low to medium stimulation at all times (ex: I couldn't be too loud when speaking with them or they would not listen/have a meltdown)
