"Kayla nannied for our family for 6 months before I decided to transition to stay at home full-time.
Kayla was very attuned to our two girls (1 y/o and 3 y/o) needs. We fondly referred to her as the 'baby whisperer' because she was able to understand exactly what our baby needed or was trying to communicate. Our 1 y/o was always (within reason) calm and happy with Kayla. Our 3 y/o is apprehensive to new adults in her life and immediately took to Kayla (which is rare for our daughter) and is one of the reasons why we hired her (from that very first meet and greet)! Kayla came up with age appropriate play for our 3 y/o including art, educational games, outdoor time, reading books, listening to music, dancing, endless pretend play, etc.
Kayla is very focused on the children's safety and I always felt comfortable having our children go on outings etc with her.
