More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a teachers aide in my hometown back in Illinois September 2017-April 2018. I worked in the fifth grade, specifically hired for one student in particular who needed assistance, but I was also in charge of grading papers, assisting students with any help they may have with homework etc. I also was living with my best friend and her 18 month old daughter at this time to help her around the house with cleaning, bedtime, bath time, diaper changes, etc as she lost her husband and was raising her daughter alone. In August of 2023-January 2024, I was a fill in nanny for a family in fort Myers for their one year old daughter.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts, listening and dancing to music, and anything outside related weather permitting.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure both parents and children feel safe and trust me, while providing the best care that I can for their child(ren). I understand the worries, although I’m not a parent, of the importance of who you let around your kids and watch them. It is a privilege to work with children.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I taught the little girl I work with currently how to walk more than 3 steps. It was such an exciting moment. Watching her reach all her milestones has been rewarding, but that memory holds a special place in my heart.
