Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I’m a hobby artist aim my free time! One of my favorite activities to do with children is engaging their creative side! This includes things such as interactive art activities such as painting self-portraits representing the current them and what they envision themselves to be when they grow up, making little crafts like popsicle stick birdhouses, and drawing silly characters based on the descriptions they decide to come up with.
The most important part about being a nanny...
There are so many wonderful things that come with caring for children and being a nanny that it’s difficult to name just one. However, if I had to choose it would be the necessity of being a safe space for the children when the parents are away, particularly for younger children who may be more nervous about being apart from their parents. As a nanny, I feel that it’s non-negotiable that one of the expectations of the role be that the children should always feel comfortable talking openly about their needs, expressing their feelings, and trusting that they are with someone that’s fun, safe, and understanding when they are under our care.
My experience with special needs children...
I am currently employed part time as a registered behavior technician. My credentialing is registered for Nevada and can be found publicly if needed. My primary experience with children is working with children with autism spectrum disorder to provide behavioral therapy targeting categories such as self-regulation, communication, and safety. Outside of clinical work, I have volunteered in both school and community settings as an ASL skills volunteer to promote language acquisition and practice opportunities for Deaf and hard of hearing children.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Reno, NV: Laura P.
Hello,
I have nannied for dozens of families in this town for over a decade. While I took a big break to travel with the circus, I miss working with kids and am ready to go back. I have been full-time with families from infancy to adolescence and did an array of tasks including grocery shopping, driving kids to activities, helping with homework, delegating children's chores, and supervising play time. I have had CPR and first aid training multiple times over. I enjoy inspiring kids to be themselves, to find the fun in life, and to be good, honest people. I fully support the silliest of conversations and love listening to the things their imaginations comes up with while encouraging them to think independently and to challenge them to solve problems on their own.

Babysitter Available in Reno, NV: Elizabeth A.
I am 37, a single mother to a now 19 year old. I grew up in Sonora California where I lived most of my life until June 2026, when I moved to Reno Nevada. My mother, growing up, was a licensed day care provider, and ran her business from home. Five days a week, sometimes more, we had eight kids, anywhere from a couple of months old to 12 year olds, at our house. Experiencing first hand the joy that came from being a huge part of all those kids life’s, is where my passion for wanting to work with children came from. One of my biggest beliefs in life is, especially when working with children, is the world is too full of wonder and life is too precious to waste time looking at a screen, when there is so much to be explored.
