A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Kayla. I graduated from the University of Michigan in December with a master’s degree in social work. Before that, I graduated with a B.S. in psychology from Michigan State. That being said, I have done coursework that would be relevant to children’s development. During, my graduate degree program I was a children’s therapist focusing on trauma and helping kids with emotional regulation, coping skills, conflict resolution, and feelings identification. My experience doing therapy with children will be truly beneficial as I am passionate about children developing healthy skills during their emotional and cognitive stages of development. I’ve done work with children a several therapeutic settings including children’s group therapy.I love doing creative activities, being out in nature, and playing games! I’ve been an aunt since I was 9 years old, I personally have experience as well taking care of my nephews. I look forward to chatting about being your family’s new nanny.
