A little bit about me

My name is Kaylee Bares. I recently graduated from Northern Michigan University in December with a degree in Psychology and a double minor in American Sign Language, and Social Service. I am looking for a job in-between undergrad and graduate school in August of 2025. I am a hard worker graduating a semester early, while working two jobs, and being an officer in multiple clubs. I have been an aunt for my entire life having seven nieces and nephews so I have plenty of experience watching children from infancy-adolescents. I also have work experience as a behavioral technician working with children with autism and other intellectual disabilities for the past 2 1/2 years. I also work as a administrative specialist at a child advocacy center working directly with children and families going through difficulties in their everyday lives. I am a huge hiker so going on trails, or different forest preserves, botanical gardens and spending as much time outside if the weather permits. I love doing arts and crafts and different types of activities that allow creativity.

I have worked with children that have had been different types of intellectual disabilities for the past 2 1/2 years. I am a behavioral technician and have experience working in-home and in-clinic settings.
