I love to do crafts and art projects with them. Anything creative. I also love to read books and play games. I mostly love to be outside with them and enjoy experiencing different things together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny for me is being able to be another person that can step into a role that further supports a child. I can be someone in their catalog of people that they can come to if they need to. It also is a role in support of the parents when they have so many other things going on that someone can be there to catch the excess and hold a piece of what makes a stable environment for a young, growing human being.
My experience with special needs children...
Unfortunately I do not have any experience with special needs children in a nanny/babysitting sense. I have worked with some in daycares and schools with assistance.
The most important part about being a nanny...
It is odd but I was once a sick nanny for a group of kids that caught a cold from the same class and they still played together and had fun but there was also a lot of cuddles, watching movies, conversation, and just resting together that was really sweet.
