A little bit about me

Hello, I am a full time college student studying Pre-Dental. I am 20 years old and grew up in Oklahoma. I have childcare experience for 4 years. My favorite job is when I worked as a preschool teacher and I absolutely loved what I did. Building and forming such bonds and having the chance to teach them wonderful things in the world is why I love childcare. I am first aid and CPR certified.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My recent job, I worked as a preschool teacher in a classroom for 3-year-olds. One of my key responsibilities was to help children feel comfortable and engaged in their learning environment. I took pride in creating a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for them. My goal was to make them want to come to school, and to feel safe at school.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I have helped many shy children become more engaged and confident through gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement. I love to create a supportive and nurturing environment for kids to thrive and learn. It shows my dedication and passion for making a positive impact on children's lives.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for the children. It's essential to build trust and form a strong bond with them, ensuring they feel secure and loved. Additionally, being attentive to their needs, encouraging their development, and fostering their curiosity and creativity are crucial. Ultimately, it's about being a reliable and positive presence in their lives, helping them grow and thrive.

My experience with special needs children...

At the start of high-school I had the opportunity to mentor special needs children in a classroom setting. This experience was incredibly rewarding and required a great deal of patience, empathy, and adaptability. I worked closely with each child to understand their unique needs and learning styles, and I tailored my approach to ensure they felt supported and included. One of my proudest moments was helping a child develop better social skills and confidence through consistent, positive reinforcement and personalized attention. This experience has greatly enhanced my ability to provide compassionate and effective care for children with diverse needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One favorite moments as a nanny was when I organized a small treasure hunt in the backyard for the kids. I created simple clues and hid little treasures around the yard. Seeing the children's faces light up with excitement and curiosity as they solved each clue was incredibly rewarding. It was a fun and educational activity that encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. The joy and laughter we shared during that activity is something I'll always cherish.
