I have worked at multiple daycare centers & childcare programs ranging from infant to school-age kiddos. I have worked as a specialized paraprofessional in a level 3 behavioral school. I have many nieces and nephews and have babysat them since they were young & I have nannied for my aunt for a few months out of the year while she is gone for work

The most important part about being a nanny...
Kids are the pilliar of our future. They are the purest things on this planet. It is our job to love & protect each of them. My favorite thing about working with kids is when they are in the process of trying to learn something on their own and they don't give up. Because the look on their face when they finally learn something is inspiring and heartwarming.

I have worked in a level 3 behavioral school and have dealt with several diverse disabilities. I also have brothers who are disabled and have cared for them growing up
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments is one summer when I would watch 2 kids from daycare. I had left for a new job that did not work out and the daycare closed for remodel during the summer and the parents had no idea what to do. Their kids missed me and begged their parents to have me watch them for the summer instead of going to a new daycare. During that summer I would take them to the swimming pool at their apartment complex sometimes, but J would only get his feet in by the side of the pool. He did not know how to swim and feared the deep water. I made it my mission to teach him how to swim that summer. By the end of it, he was swimming amazingly! He is now a freshman in high school and just made the swim team! It is such an amazing feeling to know how much of an impact I had on this child's life!
