I thank my creative background from graduating with a bachelors in the Fine Arts to engage the young children and participation in the athletic field that helps communicate with the older children. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts and outdoor activities are always my go to. I’ll even try to bring the outside in by watching fun and informative kid friendly videos about earth and animals. Create drawings and painting days based off their favorite animals or things we did that day. I’m always for creating new and fun memories that they can share with you when you get home. Keeping that constant support that there’s something you both can look forward to in that absence of time is worthwhile!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is having a healthy state of mind. If your mental health is bad then I don’t believe you should be allowed to care for children as a nanny. I firmly believe that by having a positive mindset and health can only spread and create harmony with others. One of my jobs as a nanny is to make sure I’m mentally healthy so I can always provide a healthy and supportive environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when one of my children who loved Frozen wanted to watch it 3 times in a row. She was around 3/4 years old and Frozen was her favorite movie. So I decided to switch it up each time. The first time we watched it was normal second time I made it a karaoke sing a long and third time we danced and sung to each song. It may sound crazy to watch it that many times in a row but it genuinely made me feel good. It brought me back to my childhood when my sister and I used to sing Disney princess songs back to back. Giving her , who also was an only a child , that energy to create those moments she’ll cherish really do make me feel fulfilled. Seeing the joy of just singing and dancing and smiling makes me feel good of what I do and it’s what makes me love my job.
