I volunteered at my siblings' daycare, where I also attended from ages 1 to 4. I loved working with the babies and doing activities with the kids.

I love playing hide and seek with the children, having coloring sessions, going on walks to help clear their minds, and engaging in imaginative games like princess and the dragon or race car driving. I also enjoy wearing funny, colorful wigs to make them laugh. However, my favorite activity is reading time.

It’s important to address the needs of parents through effective communication. Additionally, ensuring that children have a good routine while keeping them happy is essential. I understand that all children have difficult days, and the best way to move past these moments is to understand each child and work toward a compromise. Safety is very important to me; maintaining a safe and calm environment contributes to a positive experience for everyone. I also prioritize helping children with their homework and ensuring they understand the material.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was when I was nannying a 6-year-old girl who was having a rough day. I decided to create a self-care day for her. I started by letting her direct how she wanted the day to go. She was a very smart 6-year-old who knew exactly what she wanted!

We went to Target, where she picked out any color nail polish and one toy. I also grabbed some cookie dough and a face mask. After returning to her home, we played dress-up, made cookies, put on our face masks and she chose any age-appropriate movie to watch. It turned out to be a delightful day!
