Whether it’s indoor or outdoor play, I believe kids love to learn about the world around them and how to do things. No matter the ages, there’s plenty to learn and do and the more you learn, the more you understand the world and the people in it. This can be done with arts and crafts, going out to explore, reading, baking, or even watching educational but also fun movies and shows!

Children are one of the greatest joys to be around. A child’s laughter makes my day because it is so pure. Helping children grow and learn and understand the world around them is a privilege.

I have cared for children who are autistic, ADHD, and a child who had explosive compulsive disorder.

Honestly, I love every second of being a nanny. But I think my favorite times are being able to sooth and comfort children when they’re upset. Knowing that I helped make them feel safer and calmer and happier is such a blessing.
