Hello! My name is Kelli! I have worked with children exclusively for the last 6-7 years. I have worked with multiple age groups ranging from 18 months to 22 years old. Currently I am a registered behavioral technician, working with children under the age of five with autism. Working with children is something that I couldn't see myself not doing. I joke that I am a giant four year old who just wants to help facilitate growth in children in a fun and interactive way! I hold a undergraduate degree in speech language pathology and a masters in Autism Spectrum disorder. Throughout my adult career I have been a home health aid where I helped care for my client's child ages 5-10. I have been an on call nanny for a young woman with disabilities resulting in her needing assistance from eating/drinking to bathing. I have also worked with a range of children from 18 - 22 years old both as a registered behavioral technician as well as a babysitter.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love coming up with creative and interactive ideas for children to learn and grow through play. Child lead play another area I love. This allows me to learn what the kids enjoy and the use that to work on different play/life skills.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with many children with different needs. This ranges from completely nonverbal and non-vocal to physical disabilities to cognitive disabilities as well. I am most familiar with Autism, but have worked with children with down syndrome and other genetic disorders.
