On nice days, going on an outdoor adventure is always fun. Sometimes pointing out how many different birds we can find can take up hours of fun. Playing indoors I can always find something to do, even straightening up a mess to help all out. Or scavenger hunt.
My experience with special needs children...
My daughter was born early which she required additional help her entire life. This included, tutoring, physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy. Even though she struggled through obstacles, as a 25 year adult she works full time and very independent.
