Hi there! I’m Kelsi Lawheed and have 20 years of childcare experience. I’ve been a private nanny and have also been a teacher in a daycare. I’m great at managing more than one child. Another strength is making sure that kids are engaged whatever the age. I love kids and I truly enjoy working with them. I’m comfortable in any type of home with children of any age. I’m a happy positive person that loves my profession. I’m CPR and First aid certified and also know basic sign language. I love reading, singing, playing, arts and crafts. In addition to working a normal schedule I’m also looking for an overnight position. Either for new parents needing some sleep or help sleep training their new baby or for parents who work the night shift. I’m also open to discussing a fair rate for overnights. My experience with special needs children...

I have been a nanny to three little boys under the age of 10 that had autism. I have an uncle who is Mentally handicapped, who I cared for, that sparked my love of caring for those with disabilities

The most important part about being a nanny...

So many favorite moments! I used to keep a journal of all the hilarious things that kids say that truly were worth remembering. I love the moment when a little one knows they love you back and all the snuggles they give. I love teaching little ones and how excited they get when they’re learning. Truly too many wonderful moments to choose from.
