A little bit about me

Hi! I’m Kelsy, I’m home from college for the summer and want to make a difference in a child’s life this summer. I attend Florida Southern College where I study psychology and English, and will be graduating with me BA in a year and a half. What I lack in paid experience, I make up for in personal experience and heart. I was raised by a single mom and when she had my sister (we are 10 years apart) I helped raise her since my mom worked 2 full time jobs. One thing I believe that sets me apart is, I am a believer that kids should use proper English. While I used to get annoyed that my mom corrected my grammar constantly, it helped me through all of my years of school, and still helps me in all aspects of life now. Also, I used to babysit for a family with 2 kids (ages 4-7) and it taught me that no two kids are alike and most need vastly different approaches in care. Aside from those things, I’m flexible regarding hours, I love pets, and I am more than happy to help with cleaning.
