More About Me

-Coach, Austin Sports Academy (caring for 15+ 4-7 y/o's)
- Volunteer with TOPS Soccer for special needs children (almost every spring)

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
reading books in fun voices, consulting them on their thoughts, playing imaginary games, making up silly songs, taking them for hikes and nature walks where we try to notice everything we can and find specimens!
The most important part about being a nanny...
clear communication with the children and the parents. Making sure everyone is on the same page and understands the professional expectations and boundaries of the relationship (time, financial, parenting, physical boundaries in the home environment). Caretaking is a very big give and takes for both parties with high potential to get messy if not conducted with great awareness on both ends.
My experience with special needs children...
Personally, I am the older sister of a gentleman on the Autistic spectrum. Needless to say, I grew up with an intimate knowledge of the realities of accommodating a special needs loved one. Additionally my family made it a point to integrate themselves into the broader special needs community during my life, starting a soccer program for kids with special needs. Between this background and my medical experience, I've had the opportunity to care for children with a wide variety of abilities and challenges.
The most important part about being a nanny...
helping to teach one kiddo to perfect walking down the stairs safely over the course of a year. And getting to pass along my ridiculous sense of humor to that same kid.

Babysitter Available in Austin, TX: Bel C.
Hey there! I’m Bel from Argentina 🇦🇷 I’ve been living in the U.S. for the past 3 years, and during that time I’ve worked as a live-in nanny and babysitter with children ranging from newborns to 9 years old, as well as teenagers (11-14).
Before moving to the U.S., I worked in Argentina as an ESL teacher for elementary school children (approximately ages 6–11). I really enjoy working with kids and creating a calm, supportive, and fun environment for them.
I’m currently a student and I have classes Monday–Thursday from 9 AM–2 PM. Right now, I’m looking for a family needing help either with a split schedule, afternoon/evening support after my classes, or occasional/weekend babysitting opportunities as well.
I would describe myself as very calm, responsible, and organized. I really appreciate structure and families with consistent schedules, and I also have reliable transportation.
