Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some of my favorite activities to do with children include arts and crafts, reading storybooks, playing outside, going on nature walks, building forts, baking simple treats together, and organizing fun, educational games. I also love helping with homework, doing science experiments, and encouraging imaginative play—like dress-up or creating little plays and skits. Whether it's being active outdoors or doing something creative inside, I always aim to keep kids engaged, happy, and learning something new!

The most important part about being a babysitter is creating a safe, trusting, and positive environment where children feel comfortable, cared for, and genuinely happy. It’s not just about supervising—it’s about connecting, being present, and showing up with patience, kindness, and responsibility. Kids need someone who listens to them, respects their routines, and can keep them engaged while also being prepared to handle any situation calmly. For me, it’s about being that reliable, caring presence both children and parents can depend on.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite babysitting moments was with a little girl who was shy and quiet when I first started watching her. Over time, we built a really sweet bond through our shared love of reading and arts and crafts. One afternoon, we created an entire “indoor fairy garden” out of paper, cotton balls, and recycled materials—she was so proud of it that she showed it to her parents as soon as they walked in. Seeing her confidence grow and her personality shine through was such a rewarding experience and reminded me why I love working with kids so much. It’s the little moments like that really stay with me.
