I’ve been babysitting for the past 4+ years for family friends. I’ve been a lifeguard for two summers at a town pool where I got to enjoy spending time with a bunch of children everyday. I’ve also volunteered as a camp counselor and coach at the YMCA in previous years.

I love being outdoors so I’ve always enjoyed swimming, playing sports, or just running around outside with the little ones! I also love to see the children’s creative sides too so any activity to do with bringing out their imagination always makes me smile.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me personally, the most important part about being a nanny is staying involved and attentive. You need to do your part while the parents are gone to make sure the children are being cared for to the best of your ability. Growing a relationship with the children is also very important because without a connection, nannying can be very difficult for yourself, the children, and the parents.
