A little bit about me

I am a single, empty nester and part-time Caregiver. I have been a nurturer my whole life. I started babysitting, neighbors and cousins, at the age of 12. I had my own two children after high school, and four years later, and babysat my nieces often. Since my oldest started preschool, in 2004, I always volunteered at my kids’ schools in their classrooms several times a week, at school site events, and chaperoning field trips. Since 2007 I have worked, on and off, as a Caregiver and/or at schools with children of all ages, including those with special needs. Since 2016, my work with school age children was in a paid position, working with children from preschool through aging out of high school at age 22 (for special needs).
I love working with children, one-on-one or in small groups, watching them grow to be their own person.
