Hi there! My name is Kendra! I am a Social Work student with a deep interest in working with youth with the ultimate goal of making a positive impact on the lives of young people. I love to stay active by running track and participating in other various sports. I am also a big fan of spending time outside and playing games with kids. I find that playing outdoors is a great way to build strong connections with young people and to encourage them to stay active and healthy. During the quarantine period, I was a babysitter for my younger sisters, who are 5 and 12 years old. This experience taught me a lot about the importance of patience, empathy, and creativity when it comes to working with children.
