My experience with special needs children...
Back in 2019 I would take care of a 17 year old girl with autism and downsindrome. I would start by getting her up around 7am and get her dressed and start setting up her aching for her feeding tube. Throughout the day I would make sure her machine was working and full with a couple breaks here and there. During those breaks we would go outside and enjoy the fresh air. Once it was getting later, I would get her changed into something more comfortable for bed and turn on some cartoons to help her wind down.
