I worked for a single father in Kentucky for a couple months when I was staying out there and cared for his 2 little boys.

The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me about being a nanny is being able to be a part of a growing life that will one day have an impact on the world and make a difference. I love being involved in the growth of the little hands and feet of the kids I work with. I love being able to be there for the kids when the parents can’t, knowing they don’t feel alone and allowing them to feel secure in that they have another adult that is there for them to protect and love them!
My experience with special needs children...
When I was in high school I worked in the A+ program and went to elementary schools to be interactive with and help tutor special needs children who were struggling more than their other classmates.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A memory of mine that always makes me smile is with the 2 year old I work with named Kai, he came home from day school with a paper cut on his finger and he started saying that he was bit by a crocodile and asked me to kiss it for him and he just made my day. I love seeing the imagination come to life in the children I work with. It makes my day.
