More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve had babysitting experience mainly through caring for my younger siblings and sometimes children in my family. In those roles, I’ve helped with daily routines like meals, playtime, homework, and bedtime. I’ve also learned how to keep kids engaged, be patient when situations get stressful, and make sure they’re safe and comfortable. Those experiences taught me responsibility and how to stay calm and dependable while watching children
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing a mix of activities with kids depending on their age. I like playing games with them, doing crafts like drawing or coloring, and spending time outside if the weather is nice. I also don’t mind helping with homework or reading with them, especially if it helps them stay focused. I try to keep things fun but also calm and structured so they feel comfortable and engaged.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is making sure the children are safe, supported, and cared for at all times. That means being responsible, paying close attention, and following the parents’ instructions exactly. It’s also about building trust with both the kids and the parents, so everyone feels comfortable and confident in my care. I think patience and consistency are really important too, because kids rely on structure and stability.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve had experience caring for children with special needs through my family and babysitting. In those situations, I’ve learned to be very patient, attentive, and flexible depending on what the child needs. I focus on keeping a calm environment, following routines, and making sure they feel safe and understood. I also pay close attention to instructions from parents so I can care for the child in the best way possible.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments is when the kids I watch have a hard time with me leaving. It shows me that I’ve built a real bond with them and that they feel safe and comfortable with me.
