The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing to me about being a nanny is being there whether there is physically, mentally or emotionally. I am in the Gen Z generation so I believe that my age and the things that I’ve seen in this world helps me understand children a little bit more. I feel like that is very important because yes kids love and adore their parents, but we (and I say we because I’m still a kid in my mommy eyes) we as kids need at least one outsider that becomes family, and that outsider brings a different type of love to our lives.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve only ever worked with two special-needs children who had autism. I found it quite interesting. They taught me a lot as well as I taught them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My most cherishable moment about being a nanny is when I was working for a family of five. Mom, Dad two little girls and one son. I had a planned vacation and as I was leaving they cried in distress because they love me so much and I canceled my vacation just to stay with them. Kids are more than small humans. They bring love, joy and excitement to my life and I love being a person kids can lean on.
