The most important part about being a nanny...
a kids safety is the NUMBER 1 priority for me. It is my job to be a responsible caretaker for these children. I will provide entertainment, Safety, support. I will help feed and bathe and put the kids to sleep when needed. i will follow the rules and guidelines it takes to be a nanny and provide for these children.
My experience with special needs children...
As a lifeguard iv guarded for a “special tops” program every week where only the special needs kids would come out to swim while we guard the pool, a lot of the time I would have to help them out with things and make sure they are behaving in the pool without upsetting them. As a Wsi ( Water safety instructor) there’s times I would have a private lesson with a special need child. sometimes it can be difficult, but you just have to be patient and kind, to help them out with what ever they need. I also have a friend and her sister is special needs and always loves hanging around me. As a daycare leader there are many times I would have to help out with them also!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments working as a babysitter/nanny Is when they treat me like family. I love knowing I made an impact on the kids and they enjoy being with me. It’s always fun knowing they are excited to see you.
