A little bit about me

Hi my name is Keyera Cole-Hackwith, 20 year old female. I am currently a assistant teacher at a daycare. I am in college with hopes of becoming a child welfare social worker. I have approximately 2 to 4 years left. I have a large background of babysitting/nannying. I started when I was 14 watching The foster kids that lived with my family, feeding them after school, helping them with homework or even watching them on date nights. As I got older with a more mature group of friends, they started growing their family and now on my days off I’m always watching someone’s child. I’ve done during the day and overnight and also I’ve lived with a friend and took care of her child full-time while she was working. I have amazing references, plenty of them too. I have my CPR certification and my child care certification through Child services. My passion has always been taken care of children, and I would love to grow that:)

I have volunteered at Macoupin county department of disabled and through my old high school for autism. The learning experience was the best I’ve ever had and I got to learn so many different ways a child or an adult with a child-like mindset, works.
