Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am God mother to all 20 of my nieces and nephews. I’ve been a live in nanny twice. I have taking several babysitting jobs since I was 17. I take Psychology classes.

All activities. I love trying new things also. I love teaching. I also love having fun.

The children. The kids are the most important. Also be alert and show up for the kids your caring for is how I live my job.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for two children who had Down syndrome and I loved those children the exact same. I showed up every time for those children and although it was different caring for them, I still loved it and it came to me like second nature.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My very first job. I was 17 years old and the mother of the child I was caring for bought me a Christmas gift. The gift was a letter that she and the child wrote together. I’m the letter it basically stated how much the adore me and was thankful to have me in their lives etc. That was one of my best moments in this field.
