A little bit about me

Hello! I am Khamarie Shepherd and I am really interested in caring for your child! For the past 2 and a half years I have been caring for children through counseling/camp counseling, caring for children with special needs as an RBT, volunteering at a park with toddlers up to elementary students, and I am currently a Teacher's Aide at a nearby daycare center. My time working with children has helped me become more creative and intuitive to children's needs and also be more understanding of how children react to external situations. I am a very responsible, consistent, compassionate, and fun teacher/caregiver and I am willing to use my knowledge and expressive personality to care for children.

I DO HAVE A DAYTIME JOB! On the weekends I can work all day, on Tuesdays I can work after 2pm! Any other day would have to be after 6pm.

Is being caring and responsible. You need to have an open and caring relationship with the children but also remain responsible and productive in your work place to the children can have an appropriate balance to get accustomed to.

My experience with special needs children...

I was a Behavior Instructor for a year! I worked with children that had autism and one even had ADHD. I helped them with things like tutoring, language development, socialization, play, self-help, and motor skills.
