More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have cared for children for years. Since I was 13 years old I have been babysitting for neighbors, family, and family friends. Over these years, I have babysat for newborns up to 13 year olds and watching multiple children at a time.
I worked as a part time nanny for neighbors after my half day pre school teaching job where I cared for a young child who is legally deaf and his older brother. I have also cared for my nieces and nephew.
Since moving to nashville- I have been placed through high profile agencies. I had one year contracts with both family’s.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Age appropriate activities is key! For newborns we spent lots of time doing tummy time and looking at black and white books / photos and using age appropriate toys!
As they get older I believe doing things like library story hours, mommy and me classes like gymnastics, or play groups is important for socialization. I love to be active with the kids. Riding bikes, going to playgrounds or the zoo!

The most important part about being a nanny...
When it comes to nanny there are many important parts; however, loving and caring for the children is the most important. Building a fun, trusting relationship with the kids and their families is number one for me. I want the children that I nanny to look up to me as a "role model" and can turn to me when needed.
My experience with special needs children...
In 2018 I started with a family where the youngest son was legally deaf. While working with him I was able to potty train him, help him with sign language and spend time with him to learn to pronounce words better. We did lots of outside activities like bike riding, soccer etc. I loved bringing him to our local library to do music and story hour!
