A little bit about me

My name is Kim Gaines and I was born in Indiana and moved to Florida when I was 8. I have 37 years experience in the early childhood field. I was a state trainer for the Florida Childcare Credential Provider Certification and I am a former director and VPK teacher. I have been a director / administrator for faith based schools in Ocala, Florida. I am Looking for a family to help out and take some of the day to day stress off of them so they can spend more time with the children. I have taught all ages from birth to 8 grade so helping with homework is no problem. I love working with children and helping them grow with the use of all senses. I am a grandma of 2 grandsons and a mom of two adult sons.

I have baby sat 3 children at once from ages 6 months old , 1 year old 6 years old . For over 5 years with feeding them changing diapers to helping with homework, before that I watched a child with his brother who was disabled an couldn’t do nothing on his own . This one was 2 years … I came to Florida I was taken care of an elderly lady for over 3 years with little pay .. but good hours .. so I wouldn’t mind doing anything from working with young children to working with adults that need the help babysitter/caregiver all in one ..
