My name is kim I love kids, I have been babysitting since I was about 15 years old. I am cpr/first aid certified for infant- senior and i have my DCF 45hrs. I love working with babies, watching the grow and learn. Start to be able to crawl then stand then walk it's a wonderful feeling to know you played a part in that. I'm available pretty much any time. I do have 2 dogs so if your family is allergic to dogs we might not be the best fit. I love all animals and do not mind if you have big dogs, little dogs, cats, any of it is fine by me. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I used to help run the daycare at a local church. I just quit my job at a local daycare/preschool, I couldn't stand the way the treated to kids so I left, I love working with kids and it's hard for me to do anything else. I am cpr/first aid certified and I also have my DCF 45hrs with proof if needed😊 I look forward to speaking to you and meeting your little ones

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Outdoor: walking to parks. Playing in the yard. Playing with family pets(if you have any). Sidewalk chalk(if allowed) watching nature
Indoor: hide and seek, play games(if old enough)

The most important part about being a nanny...

Keeping the child/ren safe, making sure the get fed, and cleaned, and have plenty of mental stimulation.

My experience with special needs children...

A family friends son has cerebral palsy and when I lived near them I would always help taking care of him.
My grandma used to watch a 16 yr old boy that has low functioning autism. He was definitely a hand full but he was tought to point a picture that was in a binder to let us know what he wanted(foods/drinks/bath/toilet/games/pool). He loved to swim so we spent our afternoons in the pool

I also currently work at a therapeutic day center for children with autism

The most important part about being a nanny...

Watching them learn and grow. Going from just rolling around and crawling, to standing, to walking. It's a great feeling knowing you had something to do with that. Knowing you played a hand in the childs development, to be the amazing human they will be.
