I like playing games, doing arts and crafts, going on adventures, playing outside and age appropriate core value activities such as learning about kindness, respect , how we care for our land, the difference between right and wrong ect..

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think it’s most important for a child to understand the “why” in anything. If they don’t understand why you shouldn’t go by a hot stove then they will continue to do It over and over until they get burned. If you explain to them and they understand that it’s dangerous and you wouldn’t want them to get hurt the likelihood of you having to tell them again and again or worse have them get burned is minimal. Same with everything else. We truly don’t realize just how smart children are.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with a non-Audible autistic child for approximately one year.
I’ve worked with children that have had traumatic experiences in their lives and have a hard time coping.
I am the mother of a ADHD and social anxiety child who what diagnosed at 11 years old.
I work with my churches special needs program. A program that has children with all different types and levels of special needs.
