Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

While I have not worked as a professional nanny, I have over 20 years of hands-on childcare experience raising my two children from infancy through young adulthood. In addition to parenting, I have cared for children of family and friends when needed, including supervising play, preparing meals, helping with homework, providing transportation, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. Raising my own children has given me strong skills in patience, organization, communication, and responding calmly to children’s needs. I am excited to bring those same skills and dedication to a professional nanny role.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy spending quality time with children through activities that encourage learning, creativity, and fun. Some of my favorite activities include reading books together, arts and crafts, baking simple treats, playing board games and puzzles, going for walks or to the park, and doing age-appropriate educational activities. I also enjoy helping with homework, encouraging imaginative play, and spending time outdoors. My goal is to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children feel supported, valued, and free to learn and grow.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children feel secure and cared for. Children thrive when they know they are valued, listened to, and treated with kindness and respect. I believe a nanny plays an important role in supporting a family’s routines, encouraging learning and independence, and maintaining open communication with parents. My goal would be to care for each child as if they were my own, providing patience, consistency, and encouragement while helping them grow with confidence.

My experience with special needs children...

While my experience with special needs children is limited, I have gained a valuable understanding through spending time with my autistic niece, which has helped me learn the importance of patience, structure, and adapting activities to meet individual needs.

While I don't have experience as a professional nanny I can share one of my favorite moments with my own children.

One of my favorite moments with my children is sharing in their curiosity of the world around them.
