I have a nephew who I care for quite often while his mom is at work. I have cared for many of my cousins and friend's kids when they were in need of a babysitter/nanny.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to do arts and crafts such as painting, coloring, building things, making decorations, ect. Going outside to a park or in my backyard to play around are also things I very much enjoy doing with the kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the things that matter are being patient with the kids cause they are still learning and growing. Also giving attention to them so they don't feel neglected by you. Another big one is following the parents instructions and needs when they are given. But also just having fun with the kids and giving them a place to create memories!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My most memorable moment was with my nephew when he was just learning how to use a bottle. I was holding the bottle and so was he, and I noticed that he had learned how to hold a bottle all by himself! I sent a video to his mom and she was thrilled!
