Some of my fav indoor activities to do with kids are arts and crafts. Something that's hands on and encourages creative thinking. I took a lot of art classes in school. Painting is a hobby of mine. I enjoy sharing my passion for the arts with the kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part about being a nanny is treating your clients children as your own. That to me means making sure the kids are warm when it's cold, fed when they're hungry, happy, safe, and meeting their needs across the board.
My experience with special needs children...
I've cared for people with a variety of needs through out my life. From dementia patients in nursing homes. To wee babies at daycare. But the most experience comes from my very own life. My daughter is disabled. Shes a non verbal autistic. She's 5 now. Diagnosed at 3. Id say with all the resources, education, and personal experience I've received. I am confident I could care for another child with special needs.
