I have worked at a daycare provided for parents taking classes through pointe of hope church, I was a babysitter for a family friend for several years, I've helped with my own siblings for about ten years now, and I have nannied for at least one year.

I enjoy fort building, cookie decorating, water balloon fights, playing hide and seek and tag, watching movies, reading with them, playing board games, doing puzzles, building cool outdoor forts, learning with them about their interests, making plays, songs, or dances, creating art, playing pretend, playing video games, arts and crafts, etc.

I have very little experience looking after special needs kids, but I am always willing to learn and expand my abilities. I am extremely patient, and always excited to make new friends!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was watching a kiddo over the Christmas break for her parents while they had to be away for a family emergency. She had asked if we could make some ornaments for the tree to surprise her parents. I said of course and brought out some construction paper and crayons and the like, and she drew a couple of pictures. I expected her to draw some trees or make some candy canes, but when she showed them to me, it was a drawing of her parents holding hands, and she and I holding hands and the year was underneath it. She told me she wanted to remember this Christmas break forever. I thought that it was really sweet and I gave her a hug before we put it on the tree and put in a Christmas movie after I made us some hot chocolate.
