At church, I’ve worked closely with children of all ages—leading activities, helping with lessons, playing games, and making sure every child felt seen, safe, and included. It’s in those moments—whether it’s calming a shy toddler or cheering on a first-time reader—that I’ve really seen how important patience, kindness, and consistency are in a child’s life. 🙏🎨

Outside of church, I’ve also cared for children in my own home, creating a warm, structured, and fun environment where they could feel at home even when they were away from theirs. From snack times and story hours to learning ABCs and building forts, I’ve loved helping kids grow, learn, and just be their wonderfully silly selves. 🧸📚

Outdoor play – From bike rides and sidewalk chalk to park days and nature walks, I love helping kids burn off energy and explore the world around them. 🌳🏃‍♀️

Music and dance – Singing songs, dancing to fun tunes, or even making simple instruments—music time is always a hit! 🎶🕺

Learning through play – I enjoy finding fun ways to work on letters, numbers, or problem-solving skills through games and hands-on activities. 🧠🔤

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children can grow, feel supported, and truly be themselves. 💛

It’s not just about keeping a schedule or following routines—it’s about being present, patient, and genuinely connected. Whether it’s comforting a child after a tough day, celebrating small victories, or simply sitting on the floor and building blocks together, those moments of connection matter the most.

A favorite nanny moment of mine… 💖

One of my favorite nanny moments was with a sweet little girl I cared for who was just learning how to read. We had been working on letter sounds and simple words for weeks, using flashcards, storybooks, and even sidewalk chalk outside. One rainy afternoon, while curled up with her favorite book, she suddenly read an entire sentence out loud—without any help!
