A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Kourtney. I have found a love for my job as nanny, and no other jobs quite compare. I started babysitting in 2020 for two of the sweetest sisters. It was more of a whenever I was needed type of situation however I always enjoyed spending as much time I could with those girls. In February I was offered a part time (every other week) nannying job. At the time I was working as a pharmacy technician, but had quit due to falling absolutely in love with nannying. I’ve been a nanny for this lovely 2 year old named Max ever since February. However only working every other week has been hard as I am trying to save up for my future, so I’ve decided to look for other jobs of course as a nanny still. I love spending time with kids, outdoors and indoors engaging in crafts, fun activists, or whatever your kids may love to do. My goal as a nanny is to keep always keep children active and happy!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love exploring the outdoors with children, playing sports inside or outdoors with children as well. Doing crafts or playing fun games like hide and seek/tag. I’m all about keeping kids active and having fun. I also as a nanny now love to get children involved in books!

Always being aware of what’s going on with the child, attend to all of their needs. Being responsible and alert at all times. Over all just making sure the child is in the best hands and is always happy and well cared for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Personally I have too many to choose from. But Max the boy I nanny for now never ceases to amaze me. He is smart beyond his age. He’s so excited by the littlest of things and remembers every detail. One day him and his father went razor riding and saw a baby deer stuck in a fence and a couple other deers, his dad of course helped the baby deer. I heard about this story the next day, and all Max wanted to do was explore all over outside that day until we found a deer he could help or could look at again. It’s little moments like these that make me so intrigued by childrens hearts and love to nanny!
