More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked with several families with children of all ages. I also was a camp counselor at camp kudzu which is a camp for kids and teens with type 1 diabetes.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Activities I enjoy doing with children are daily arts and crafts. I start each week with a weekly lesson plan and coordinate the activities to what the lesson plan will be focusing on for that week. I encourage fun outdoor activity such as scavenger hunts with clues to encourage kids to want to go outside and it makes children eager to stay active.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is making sure you make a connection with the children. Kids always will look up to you and children are so curious and if you connect with the children you are able to teach them so much.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with a range of special needs children. Including kids with autism, ADD, ADHD, speech delays, and medical conditions such as type 1 diabetes.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when a six year old child I was a nanny for looked at me and said “Ms. Kristen I’m am so happy you are apart of my life. I love spending time with you.”
