Over 10+ years of professional nannying experience including children with special needs. I have 1 year of ABA as a behavioral technician and I am currently an IHSS caregiver. I also have professional janitorial & chef experience. My career as a costume designer makes me excellent at laundry & keeps me very creative when it comes to being with the children. My mom was a teacher of 30 years, and I began my experience working with children in her classroom reading to children and helping with their homework. In my personal life I meditate and use my practice as a highly revered skill of patience when working with children. I have current vaccines, TB tested, cpr certification, and 6 ECE units.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Nanny, Behavioral Technician, IHSS caregiver, and YMCA camp counselor. • Worked full-time with families taking care of up to three children at a time ages 4 months to 9 years old, Monday thru Sunday and on call. • Managed the schedules of the children, including the planning of engaging activities, driving/picking up from any events like sports, school, and parties. • Executed light housekeeping, including laundry, vacuuming, dishes, and bedroom tidying.

My experience with special needs children...

I have been with a family with two special needs children for over 2 years. I have worked in ABA as a behavioral technician for 1 year, this included children up to 12 years old with varying degrees of needs. A few children were non verbal and used talking boards. I am currently an IHSS caregiver.
