A little bit about me

Hello! I am a mother of 5, I was a stay at home mom for 15 years. I have done various babysitting jobs since I was 13, I nannied for families when I lived in Europe. I worked for 3 families that lived in the small village I was living in at the time, till I was 16 and moved back state-side. I worked at a daycare as a preschool teacher, and I have done various babysitting jobs through out my life. I enjoy teaching kids, and exploring the world around us, and try to make each day an adventure. I also earned my CNA in 2017, and I am currently enrolled in school for Psychology. I can easily obtain my CPR,or First Aid, just haven't needed to have them updated in some time. I also worked as a home health care giver, ran errands for clients, took care of their home, and provided assistance for clients with personal cares, med reminders, assistance getting to doctor appointments, and anything else unique to the client need. I managed up to 8 clients at a time.

I started off working the nursery in churches when I was about 12, nannied for families when I lived in Europe, have 5 children of my own, was a stay-at home mom for 15 years, worked at a daycare as a Preschool teacher.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking my kids on walks, going to parks all over the FM area, pool days, movie days, or any fun activities my kids can dream up for the day. I am usually along for the ride for what adventure they are ready for that day. I like to plan fun outings, or just hang out.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Doing a wonderful job, caring, being empathetic, fun, and just someone everyone feels joy around.

My experience with special needs children...

I helped my parents since I was 15 with my little brother that is quadriplegic, non verbal with cerebral palsy. When he was smaller, I used to go with to his physical therapy appointments to learn how to work with him at home. He's 24 now, and we were really close, till I moved 4 hours away, and started my own family.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Always when the kids get excited to see me, and they have their fun stories to tell me. I love seeing when a child learns a new concept, like learning to read. Seeing how their face lights up when they struggled with something and finally understand it.
