I recently graduated from Anna Maria College with a bachelors in music therapy. During my last year of college I interned at an early intervention center where I worked with children who have development delays. I have recently interned at an early intervention center where I worked with various therapists and specialists with infants and toddlers (0-3) who have developmental delays. I also currently work as a child watch staff member where I care for children ages 3 months-12 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I cater to developmentally appropriate activities so activities are very individualized! Some of my favorite for toddlers are sing alongs and finger painting. And for children would be music jams and jewelry making.

The most important part about being a nanny is patience, kindness, and respect. I believe in treating children the way I would have wanted to be treated when I was their age. Understanding their view point is the key to creating connections with children and their families.

I have some experience with infants and children on the autism spectrum through my internship experience.

When one of the kids I worked with and I make our own instruments from crafts and supplies found around the his home. We played along to some of his favorite songs for the rest of the day!
