Working in a preschool setting with an incredible team of other teachers was my best experience working with children! One of our main strategies was "connection before correction". The importance of creating comforting bonds allows me to understand the reasoning behind children's actions. When you can see behind the action, you are able to not only comfort the child, but encourage them to act from the good of their heart.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love bringing children outside to do fun activities! Supervising them at parks or activity centers while allowing them the freedom to participate in independent yet safe activities. The kids and I love to run around the park while kicking around a soccer ball or going to a play zone where they can play with kid friendly equipment while also interacting with other kids their age.
