More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have card for a five year little boy as well as his brother who was 11 at the time . I was a live in and their complete soul provider for the boys. The parents were deployed so I watched them full time . And I did that for about a year or year and half. I also have a beautiful daughter who is 18 months and she never gets to play with other children this would be a blessing for me to be able to help a family in need of childcare.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

We like to play outdoors on the children’s play house I have and when it’s warm out we like to play in the water toys and with the water table , I also have a huge play pen my daughter play and sleeps in that has a full mattress in it. We have so many toys it’s crazy. She has two full toy boxes she never even gets to play with . I offer educational play as well . And I do like to take the children on an adventure to an activity such as to the park or the aquarium ect. I also love to cook meals for my daughter like I would myself and she eats very well as well as I buy healthy options with lots of veggies . We like to play games and practice words as well as normal things such as potty training , I try to be consistent as that’s what works best with littles ones . Whatever you’re doing at home I will also continue when they are with me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part about being a nanny is treating them all equally, and loving them equally. Children don’t just need care. They need nurturing and love. this makes me different from other nannies, as any child that I am with I treat him like my own. I feel I’m also able to determine the specific needs of various children and find ways to make fun learning for them. As well as making sure the practiced and rules at home are followed when they are with me . Little ones need consistency to learn and grow without they just seem to get confused and tend to act out at times .

My experience with special needs children...

I feel special needs children need extra time and patients. I also know they need structure and lots of love. Consistency is key with a little ones regardless of a disability or not.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment has to be when I taught my last clients five year old to succeed in school. He wasn’t doing all that well and by then end of the year due to my tutoring and working with him at home we were able to turn that school year around and he passed.
