A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Kylei Khamphavong and I am looking for a full time nanny/babysitting job. I have a one year old daughter. I currently watch 4-5 kids from the ages 3-7. However, I am also experienced with infants and toddlers. I moved from Georgia to kansas; most of my experience is with personal in home care and also a daycare I worked at in Georgia. The daycare is named Kids Haven. With this job I took care of 8-10 kids in one setting. This included changing diapers, providing activities, and making sure there is a safe/clean environment for the children. Lastly, I would inform parents of child behavior (good/bad) at pickup times. I am 21 years old, looking for any care-giving job. I love working with children and have been around them all of my life. I am Asian/Mexican. I've also attended college but currently I am not enrolled; I will continue my education with a Cellular Molecular Biology major (in the future).

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a healthy/safe relationship with the child AND parent(s). It is important that the child likes to come to daycare and enjoys the environment their in, all while being disciplined and taught proper values used in life.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with special needs patients. I’ve lived in a home with a patient that has Down syndrome. My grandmother raised and adopted Stanley as our own; he is like a brother to me.
