A little bit about me

I am 20 and originally from Spring Hill, KS! I am moving to Tallahassee to pursue my Early Childhood Education career! Working with children, infants specifically, is my passion. Most recently, I have worked as an Infant teacher for nearly 2.5 years! I am extremely passionate for helping kiddos reach milestones, set schedules/routines, and ensuring they feel safe, secured, and loved. With years of experience I’ve developed a deep understanding of infant development, sleep patterns, feeding routines, and emotional bonding! I do pride myself on being warm, patient, understanding, and attentive to every little cue! Whether that may be soothing a teething, fussy baby back to sleep, encouraging those first giggles, or gently supporting milestones, I put my heart into all of it! I also value open communication with parents and believe that trust, transparency, and teamwork are the foundation of great care. I’m CPR and infant first-aid certified, and have completed hours of KDHE trainings.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was an infant teacher at a daycare and worked with up to 9 kids a day! It is one of my most treasured experiences. I also helped raise 4 of my younger siblings. From the age 12, I began to babysit for family friends.

I love doing crafts! It is fun to get creative with kids and seeing what they can make!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have previously nannied for a family with an 8 year old. We would always go out and do fun things like go to the park, or get ice cream. He decided that day that he wanted to go to Main Event! His favorite game was the Jurassic park game. Him and I played through that game for a straight 45 minutes with no shame! He said that was the most fun he has ever had and gave me a hug for the very first time🥹
