The most important part about being a nanny...
Keeping the child safe, giving them the right amount of attention, love & care. We may not be apart of the family but every kid deserves to be loved by anyone who’s care they’re in. Safety always first, watching them closely. Preventing accidents ,knowing allergies, routines, and emergency contact & making safe choices. Routine is also important it helps with stability and allows them to stay “rule” based to avoid tantrums. Patience is always a major important part of being a nanny it builds trust and guidance!
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with teenagers with autism. I volunteered in high school to work with them as an extra curriculum. Never for work , however I’ve had some kids who were on the spectrum in the age range of 3-5 in my days of working in programs.
