One of my favorite nanny moments was when I took care of a 6-year-old girl who loved singing karaoke, watching movies, and staying active. One day, her parents didn't have anything planned, so we decided to go grocery shopping and recreate one of her favorite dishes her mom makes for her: Vegetable Pasta. We then sat in front of the TV and watched a Disney movie. While I cleaned up the kitchen, we had a dance party and eventually fell asleep. Her mom later told me that she kept asking for sleepovers with "Special" (my middle name).
